When: 18-26 June 2022
Where: Cittá della Pieve and sorroundings, near Val di Chiana and the beautiful landscape on the border between Umbria and Tuscany
What: a week of urban and landscape sketching (watercolor and mixed media techniques) in an old medieval town with lots of history, lush hills and nature, good food and some bonus extra artistic experiences with local artists like art printing or clay work.

Who: the workshop is open to all levels, there will be daily sketching sessions on location with step by step demos, art workshops with local artists as well as free time to enjoy the town and cultural offers yourself. The perfect holiday for somebody that wants to work on their travel sketching practice under the guide of an expert sketcher while at the same time taking some days to relax in a beautiful space
Costs: 460€ for the workshop activities (personal sketching materials not included, a materials list will be provided). Travel, accommodations and food not included, see indications below.
Logistics: the workshop will take place in Città della Pieve
There are several Hotels and BnB in town at different price ranges, plus several airbnb option for private houses. If you don’t have a car I suggest finding an accommodation at walking distance from the city center.
The closest and most connected train station is Chiusi-Chianciano Terme, from there there are cabs and local buses to reach Città della Pieve. We can also coordinate carpooling once the participants list is closed.
