Where: Black Forest, based in the Schluchsee village
What: A weekend of landscape and nature sketching in the world famous Black Forest region (Südlicher Hochschwarzwald) in the southwest of Germany. The village Schluchsee is a small climatic health resort on the shores of the lake of the same name. The lake is the biggest lake of the black forest and very popular with the locals and tourists alike for its water sports opportunities (swimming, SUP, sailing…) and hiking/ biking trails. Other black forest sights are easily accessible by public transport (S-Bahn and Bus).

Who: The workshop is open to all levels. The sketching sessions on location will have step by step demos. The sketching locations will be within walking distance (30-60min) from the village center. In the afternoons there is time to enjoy the village and the lake or explore the wider surroundings on foot.
Costs: 250€ for the workshop activities (personal sketching materials not included, a materials list will be provided). Travel, accommodations and food not included, see indications below.
Logistics: The workshop will take place in Schluchsee (village).
Schluchsee is connected to Freiburg (Breisgau) by S-Bahn. There are Hotels, BnB and apartments in town at different price ranges. If you don’t travel by car we suggest finding an accommodation at walking distance from the city center.
The workshop has very limited spots, if you have to cancel you can either find somebody to come in your place or the cancellation fee is 50% of the total.
